Dr. Margit Zeitler-Feicht ist spezialisiert auf Pferdeverhalten und tiergerechte Pferdehaltung. Sie arbeitet als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Wissenschaftszentrum Weihenstephan der TU München. Sie ist Mitglied in verschiedenen Fachgremien, vielfache Autorin und selbst aktive Reiterin.
